Since 2008, various locations have hosted the free poker tournaments with the Dream Dealers as a fun promotion.  The players get a great event and new dealers have an opportunity to learn the craft while experienced dealers maintain their skills. 

Prizes are gift certificates at the hosting venues.  Points are awarded to the final table and the top point leaders qualify for an invitation to the "Good Karma Tournament" where the dealers sponsor a grand prize which can be several hundred dollars or an entry into a major poker tournament.  This is a great opportunity for new players to learn to play poker while networking and conversing with friends without the risk of a buy-in.  (And unlike other poker leagues, they don't have to deal!
